DeVon turned 2 on the 25th!! And then of course all the billion other people with March birthdays. We weren't planning on having a party because we had one down in Park City with my family, but the night before his birthday, Tony's sister said she wanted to bring her roommates over and have a party for DeVon. So the day of his birthday, Tony went out and got a cake mix and we made a funfetti cake. yum! Oh, and on the 24th Tony decided to go buy him a present - Gator Golf. He's REALLY good at driving the golf ball, but he's not very interested in putting, so we decided a gimmick like Gator Golf might motivate him to putt. He really is going to be the next Tiger Woods - if he continues to like it and sticks with it. Ok, so the night of his birthday, Britt and her friends come over. Tony had some Chemistry homework due the next day, so his lab partner also came over and celebrated. Britt's roommates brought him presents. Mike and Ike's, a Hershey's bar, and a big M&M cookie. (They live in the dorms - hence the presents) But if you know DeVon, you know those are PERFECT presents for him. He's my little sugar monster. He's a terrible eater, so some days when he just won't eat anything, he gets cookies. Don't judge me; he needs to gain weight and I'd rather him eat a cookie than starve himself. He's really funny about getting his picture taken now. It's a rare thing, that's for sure. On his birthday, he wouldn't let me take ANY pictures of him. As soon as I got the camera out, he would lay face down on the floor pouting until I turned it off AND set it down. Oh, and he got a Spongebob balloon from Auntie Britt. Another PERFECT gift for him. Here's the pictures that I was able to get:

Today we went to Porter Park. It was such a nice day! Who woulda thought that 50 degree weather could bring people OUTside instead of in!? There were tons of people at the park. DeVon had a blast just watching everyone. He got to play on the swings (his favorite) and play golf and soccer. We ran all over the field with the soccer ball. But, as usual, his favorite thing to do was to just stand there and watch all the other people in the park. He watched some guys play football, and as soon as he saw that they had set their football down, he ran over and stole it! He was so mad he couldn't play with the football. Guess we'll have to remember to take one next time. There was a guy there walking his baby goat. So cute! Only in Idaho... He let DeVon pet it. If DeVon had had his way, he'd still be at the park right now (10:30 p.m.) We're looking into moving somewhere that's not so cold!
Here's some recent pictures I haven't posted yet. And his latest golfing videos.
^mind you, this is like hitting out of the rough. You should see him on fairway like grass

^ DeVon likes to help me with the laundry. His pile on the left, mine on the right. He's so sweet.
