Welcome to our new blog! Just to be clear, i still like wordpress better, but blogger has done a lot of updating to make it almost the same and I get to make my blog backgrounds! unlike wordpress, where you have to pay to change the css. So it's been a while since I posted and I can't think of any of the things I wanted to post... The weekend of the 12th my entire family was in Utah for Kaylee's senior meet. She was amazing! as usual. Then we all went up to Park City and stayed for a couple days. Everyone went snow tubing at one point, but DeVon was napping, so Tony and I followed suit and SLEPT instead of tubing. We never get naps nowadays. It's just too busy at our house. But up there, we had nothing to do, no responsibilities so we got a 3 hour nap!! That was probably one of the best parts of the weekend. We played some board games, of course. My favorite being Telestrations. If you haven't played - do. It's so much fun, but only with a lot of people. DeVon was terrified of Koryn the entire weekend. She would chase him and he would cry. At one point, she backed him into a corner and kept trying to kiss him and he totally freaked. While everyone was together, we celebrated DeVon's and Kelcie's birthday, which are actually on the 25th and 26th, respectively. DeVon actually blew out his candles. We'd been practicing blowing for a few weeks in preparation for his birthday. DeVon can now say 5 words... mama, dada, baba, uh-oh, and ow. The only one he uses on a constant basis though is uh-oh. He prefers to use sign language, even for mommy and daddy. He knows so many signs. I'll have to try and video them. He even makes up some signs. Like for bird, but from what little I remember from ASL 101 all those years ago, I think his sign is actually right. He still loves golf more than anything. He seriously hardly ever plays with any of his toys other than his golf set and his soccer ball. He's been getting cabin fever so we try to take him outside almost every day, even though it's still cold, and guess what he does -- golf. of course. And when we are inside, he makes me play the Tiger Woods game all day. Or as he calls it "E - E" as in EA Sports. It's his favorite slogan and he hulks out hard when it comes on the screen. He likes it when we turn the volume up really loud for when it says "EA". I can't believe he's almost 2. He's such a big boy.
So we need to sell some stuff. Does anyone in the Rexburg area want a kitchen table or bookshelf? Pictures to come later. We're moving to El Paso in a month and need to downsize because we don't know where we're going to be moving after the summer so it's pointless to get a storage unit here if we're not going to be moving back.
I'll post pictures from Park City (including some family pics we got taken) as soon as I get them from everyone and also from the photographer.
